We’re Proud of our Legacy of Supporting Rural Communities
As a philanthropic arm of Bayer, Bayer Fund develops programs and makes strategic investments in qualified non-profit organizations tackling big social challenges in communities where our employees live and work. Bayer Fund provides community engagement and commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our communities in three primary priority areas: Food & Nutrition, STEM Education and Health/Wellness.
At Bayer Fund, we’re proud of our legacy of supporting rural communities. Through the America’s Farmers programs, Bayer Fund has given millions of dollars to thousands of nonprofits, schools and ag students across rural America since 2010.
With a much larger footprint post the integration with Bayer, Bayer Fund has been reassessing its strategy and program offerings to serve the more than 125 locations throughout the U.S. in which our employees live and work. As a result, the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program offered by Bayer Fund will be discontinued after 2024.
Rather than launching the program with the traditionally extensive enrollment for this upcoming year, Bayer Fund is committed to giving back to communities by extending $5,000 donations in 2024 directly to last year’s America’s Farmers Grow Communities winning organizations. 2023 winning farmers who selected these organizations will be recognized and donations will be given on their behalf.
In mid-November, Bayer Fund will send an announcement to our America’s Farmers Grow Communities winning farmers and reach out to 2024 winning organizations beginning in January.
We appreciate your support of Bayer Fund’s America’s Farmers programs over the last decade.
