School districts: Grow Rural Education Entry Period Closes April 15

School districts — you have until April 15 at 9 p.m. CT to submit applications for America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education grants.

If you have been nominated by a local American farmer for a grant to help your district’s STEM education, don’t delay in sending in your applications! You have the opportunity to compete for $10,000 or $25,000 grants to support STEM curriculum in your local schools. Once you receive your application invitation code via postcard or email, you are eligible to apply for a grant.

Each year, Grow Rural Education awards $2.3 million in science, technology, engineering and math grants. Entries are reviewed by a panel of math and science teachers during May and June with finalists announced by the end of June. After a farmer advisory council reviews those finalists, the 2019 Grow Rural Education winners will be announced in early August.

Grow Rural Education grants have already changed the lives of so many students. Could your local school district be the next winner?

Apply now — your district could be the next deserving recipient of a Grow Rural Education grant!
